![]() Gabrielle received her BA in Drama and African Studies from Vassar College and her MA in Performance Studies from New York University/Tisch School of the Arts. She is former Board Chair of viBe Theater Experience and served as Director of Development at Opening Act she is currently on the Board of The Bechdel Group. Gabrielle is particularly committed to both the arts and empowering youth, and especially efforts where the two intersect. Gabrielle’s expertise includes strategic campaign planning, major gift fundraising, and annual giving campaigns, with equal emphasis on fundraising and volunteer management. Gabrielle has been an independent consultant with a client list that includes the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Fiver Children’s Foundation, The Peter Westbrook Foundation and Brooklyn Children’s Theatre. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer for Oliver Scholars, Gabrielle has over two consecutive decades of experience in fundraising and institutional advancement. ![]() Gabrielle is a fund development and non-profit management professional. An admirer of the theatre from a young age, Ashley understands how powerful the arts can be for everyone. As a political science graduate, Ashley has always felt compelled to build a career focused on helping others and providing relief to communities most in need, in a system that leaves so much to be desired in terms of equity. Since her first post, she has worked for a variety of nonprofits, including 826DC, Center for Employment Opportunities, and the Arab American Association of New York. Her experience as a fund development professional has focused primarily on grant management for institutional giving, event coordination, and individual giving campaigns. in Political Science from Marymount Manhattan College. He currently serves on the board of the National Association of Episcopal Schools and is a past board member of St. In 2014, Burns was awarded a Klingenstein Fellowship at Columbia University’s School of Education. from the University of South Carolina, where he graduated with honors. in English from Middlebury College, and a J.D. ![]() in English from Sewanee (where he was varsity soccer team captain for two years), an M.A. He began his educational career as a high school English teacher, soccer coach, and dorm parent. ![]() Before joining Cathedral, Burns was head of school at Canterbury School, an independent, preschool – grade 8 day school in North Carolina.
